Warm and edible-looking, Alize Puffy Fine Ombre Batik 7262 moves from milk caramel at one end to a dark cocoa brown at the other. Worked flat it looks like a poured coffee gradient, and the tonal change is slow enough that a whole cushion can sit inside a single shade band.

You get 500 grams (17.64 ounces) and 79 yards (73 meters) of 100% micropolyester per cake, in Puffy Fine's smaller loop. That fine loop gives a denser, more suede-like surface than the original chunky Puffy.

No hook and no needles: the ready-formed loops link by finger, which makes even a 500 gram project approachable for a first-timer. Two cakes worked end to end give a longer, seamless fade across a full-size throw. Wash cool, reshape damp, dry flat.
