Description
Alize Diva 158 is a pale, powdery Lilac, a soft lavender with a grey whisper in it, much gentler than the vivid orchid of 474 and cooler than the dusty mauve of 505.
Each 100 gram (3.53 ounce) ball gives 383 yards (350 meters) of fingering-weight 100% microfiber acrylic, working to 30 stitches over 4 inches on a 3.5 mm (E) hook or US 1.5-4 (2.5-3.5 mm) needles. That is enough yardage for a full lace stole from a single ball, or a generous baby blanket from three.
The strand is fine and even, so openwork patterns block out beautifully and the eyelets stay open rather than collapsing. Gentle machine wash, and a light steam block sets the lace without flattening the sheen.
