Description
Sax Blue is a strong, clean mid-azure. Alize Diva 132 is brighter and more electric than the denim of 279 and considerably deeper than the sky blue of 346, and the microfiber lustre gives it a slight satin glow.
Composition: 100% microfiber acrylic, 383 yards (350 meters) per 100 gram (3.53 ounce) ball, fingering weight, 30 stitches over 4 inches, a 3.5 mm (E) hook and US 1.5-4 needles. It is a workhorse for summer tops, Mediterranean-blue table linens and nautical baby blankets worked alongside white.
The yarn splits very little, so it forgives fast crochet and survives frogging without felting, which helps when a garment needs resizing partway through. Machine washable and colourfast, and the blue does not migrate onto white contrast stripes.
